The My LInX screen provides the user with access to various LInX user configuration options, including changing their LInX Password; updating Challenge Question answers, managing saved LInX search queries; setting and saving User Preferences; viewing LInX User Agreements; and viewing the status of, and setting up LInX Neighborhoods.
The My LInX screen can be accessed from the menu bar located along the left side of the screen. This menu option is available to all LInX users.
Tactical and Analytical LInX users can access My LInX from the menu bar located along the left side of the screen. The user will automatically be taken to the My LInX screen. The options available from the My LInX screen will be dependent on the user’s privileges. The options include:
Ø Change Password
Ø Challenge Questions
Ø Manage Watch List
Ø Set Preferences
Ø Neighborhoods
Ø User Agreements
Ø Download History
Ø Recently Viewed Events
Ø Change Contact Info
Ø Training Report
The user has the capability to review/update their phone number and email address information. The user must contact their system administrator for any name changes.
The user has the capability to view their completed training.
The date of the last in-class training, or the date of the last video training if the user has viewed the required number of videos (e.g., 3 videos within the last
2 years), will be displayed as the training date. If the required number of videos has not been watched a training date will not be displayed.
Tactical and Analytical users should contact their System Administrator or Agency Administrator when they are having problems accessing or using LInX. Only System Administrators are authorized to contact the LInX Help Desk.
